Following the completion of its strategic planning process in 2007, the Foundation made a small number of multi-year grants to community-based nonprofit housing producers under its new Geographically Targeted Affordable Housing strategy.  These grants were renewed in 2009. 

In 2010, the Foundation will make a small number of additional grants to community-based nonprofit housing organizations through a special Request for Proposals (RFP) process.  Interested non-profits are asked to submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) in accordance with the criteria and guidance provided in a written LOI/RFP that was distributed on April 7, 2010 and is available on the Foundation’s website.  Letters of Interest are due by 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010.  If you have any questions about this process, please contact Angela Brown at abrown@hyamsfoundation.org or by calling her at (617) 426-5600, ext. 310.
